NEW
Hit this is Nivas from Truber's community once again here to put up some keys as a review for Yuxin....
The Yuxin looks well good but at the time of unboxing it is very tight and unable to turn after loosing down the tension of the springs it is really good and corner twists well and within a small amount of force it turns well.
the size of the cube is very impressive  which is small and fit to our hands the stickers are with rough texture so it gives more grip and the stickers are not much bright like the gans 356 and has faded colors but still it is visible and doesn't ruin the solve. but when came in speed this cube will definitely ruin your solves because this cube is sluggish and terribly slow.
when came to the term structure and mechanism this cube looks very familiar with Thunderclap which as the long stem and dipped inwards in the side of the corner pieces and the center pieces are in the same square shape with blended edges and have curved in the center.

the edges are familiar with the edges of Moyu AoLong, it is made up of the mold of two pieces and have the lips in its bottom.in structure it almost matching the Thunderclap  but in the performance it is mile before Thunderclap

Hi guys i am nivas from trubers comm. back to give up a review on DaYan GuHong V2.I feel as though the Dayan GuHong II didn’t get quite the publicity that Dayan probably wanted, but it’s only because the ZhanChi was still gaining popularity; and the GuHong II was not technically a new cube but a remake. It is still a great cube, but some cubers had too high of expectations with the rate that Dayan was going with the greatness of their cubes. Taking all of that aside, the GuHong II made its way into the cubing community and made a great cube even better than it was before.

GuHong II Pieces

Much like the GuHong, the GuHong II has a very simple and straight-forward design. This simple mold enables a great amount of smoothness and corner-cutting that wasn’t originally thought of before. If you want to read up more about the original GuHong mechanism
One thing that I notice with the mechanism is there is more structure. I find myself never worrying about the cube coming apart. I actually use this cube for my one-handed solves (I’m not great so don’t judge me too much on that). The reason the GuHong has more stability is the change of the edge pieces.
The GuHong II has been implemented with torpedos which their previous model didn’t have before. On top of that, there have been minor alterations with the beveling on the sides of the pieces, and the flushness that comes in between the edge and corner pieces is a lot better. This sleek change has drastically improved the GuHong and made it worth the upgrade.

This is a great cube that has great stability.  I’d go to this sooner than most of my cubes that I already have and especially over the original GuHong.  Ever since I bought this cube, my GuHong has been up on the shelf and I haven’t picked it up but once or twice.  The original is good, but the GuHong II is much better.
I’m not sure why, but I started using it as my one-handed cube for getting better.  I’m not anywhere close to being a pro at one-handed solve, but I like that I don’t have to worry about my GuHong II coming apart.  Some may not like it as much as some of the other cubes, but there are the few that think this is the best cube so far.
This is in my top 5 favorite speed cubes, and I thoroughly enjoy having this cube in my collection.  I find myself pulling it out occasionally for a nice upgrade from the original.  I have no regrets getting this cube and I’m sure you won’t either.

The first thing I noticed out of the box was that the Fangshi GuangYing was quite scratchy. This scratchy feeling was quite apparent in their earlier cubes the Fangshi ShuangRen. An unusual thing that I noticed was that there was a slight scraping sound similar to the sound when metal scrapes metal. I learned later on that this might be cause by the extra plastic or “flash” found on the individual pieces.  The second thing I noticed that it was really fast and very light. This wasn’t so surprising because earlier Fangshi Speed Cubes had this turning feeling and speed.

The speed of the Fangshi Guangying is quite fast. It can be compared to the speed of the Moyu Weilong and Dayan Zanchi with one difference and that is it is much more lighter. Turning on this speed cube take little to no effort and it almost feels like the tensions are too loose, which makes it feel a little floppy and out of control.

Corner cutting out of the box is quite bad. The Fangshi ShuanRen had excellent corner cutting abilities, the best I’ve seen so far. So it is quite a surprise that the GuanYing lacked the corner cutting abilities of it’s older speed cube brothers. It does get better by loosening the tensions a bit, although it still is quite poor since it will disrupt the flow of the solve and often times lock up and catch layers.

To give an idea on how secure this thing is, I had to literally take apart an edge piece while it was inside the cube just to take it apart for the pictures I take for the speed cube review.  That is how rock solid this thing is.  I’ve never had so much difficulty in my life taking a cube apart, so I’m pretty sure that it’s not going to pop during any of my solves; and it hasn’t since I’ve bought it so it’s pretty convincing.
A minor setback would be the edge and corner caps that cover the cube.  FangShi is designed with a much more different approach to assembling their speed cubes, and one such design would be the caps.
Putting the cube together was no problem, but while taking the cube apart, I had several occasions where the caps would pull off before the piece themselves.
GuangYing PiecesIt does seem to be problematic, but I say it is minor because all it takes to fix it is some super glue and assembly.  On the bright side, the caps don’t come off during solves, so it really is a personal preference.  I probably won’t do anything to it if that helps make up your mind.

Review

This cube is wonderfully crafted with little to say against it.  Some might say that it is too fast for them, but I find that it is just perfect for me.  As of the time that I am writing this review, the FangShi GuangYing is my current main speed cube.  It is really that good.
There are no lock ups, superb corner cutting, popping during solves are eliminated, and has a great balance between speed and control.  The only limitation is your ability to use it.  The better you get, the better the cube will work for you.  That’s all there is to it.

Overview

Even though the Shuang Ren was nearly perfect, it still wasn’t good enough in the eyes of its maker.  FangShi reevaluated their first attempt and saw that some tweaks could be made to improve the overall structure of the cube.  Although some (myself included) could say that the original version was considered the best speed cube so far, it was still refreshing that they continued to make it even better.

Why FangShi thought that they should remake the 3×3 is beyond me, but I’m also not going to complain either.  They are slightly more expensive, but a better choice if you’re going to choose between the two.  As far as looks go, it still holds a distinct style over every other cube that you will see, but that’s what makes this brand stand out.

FangShi Shuang Ren V2 MechanismMechanism

As I’ve said before, there isn’t much difference between the Shuang Ren and the Shuang Ren V2, so I’d be really rehashing the original, but I’ll still give a good description of the newer design.
The mechanism of this cube, like it’s predecessor, is very unusual and goes out of the norm that you would see in most speedcubes.  The plastic is the first noticeable change that you’ll see, as it has a rougher plastic rather than the smooth feel that you’re used to.  However, that does not affect the turns or the feel when you’re solving it.
The Center pieces now have a bigger block on the main part of the two.  It allows a more structured unit when the cube is together.  The Edge pieces have a built in double torpedo piece that holds the corners to the edge pieces and the edge pieces to the center pieces.  The combined effect creates the strongest structure I’ve seen so far.
There are only slight variations that make this cube better, but the results were worth the extra work.

Review

Smooth, no pops, no locks…. There’s nothing bad that you can say about this cube, and there is always something that you will love.  When I had the Shuang Ren in my hands, I knew that I found a good cube; but the Shuang Ren V2 showed me that a few modifications could make something great even greater.
I could very well say that this is the best speedcube that I’ve ever seen and used.  It’s not that it excels in just one thing, but excels in everything with a balance that brings it all together.  If I could say anything bad about this puzzle, it would be that you have to break it in just a little bit to get a smoother ride when you rotate the cube, but it’ doesn’t take long and you’ll barely feel a change.

Is This Cube For You?

If you are a new cuber or a seasoned speedcuber, this is a cube that you want to have in your library.  This cube is my main at the current time and I feel as though it will stay there for quite sometime.  I’ve been surprised at how well this puzzle works and never disappointed with my purchase.
In fact, after owning several other speedcubes, I’d say that this beats every other one that I own (including the infamous Dayan ZhanChi).  It feels full and thick when you hold it.  You can tell that there is some solid work when you turn the cube and hold it.  I also notice that it sets me up better when I’m cutting corners more than other cubes.
The only thing that you may have to deal with is the breaking in part.  After you solve it several times, you’ll notice a change in the rotation, and that is okay.  It only improves the cube and gives you a great feeling.
Get this cube if you prefer:
  • Smooth turning
  • Flush feeling
  • Heavier weight
  • Superb corner-cutting
Don’t get this cube if you prefer:
  • Crisp turning
  • Open feeling
  • Lighter weight
  • Rigid turns

Hi Nivas back from truber's team here towards the review of Moyu Congs design YueYing

Initially the Cong’s Design YueYing looked really cool. The box design is quite “cool” compared the more boring boxes of other speed cubes, and I must say, that logo is awesome. It is really a nice refreshing change from most speed cube logos which only consists of letters or Chinese words.

At first turn the YueYing is blocky and the feeling is quite heavy and slow. The speed cube comes pre-lubed from the factory so I can’t imagine how much slower and heavy this cube will feel without the lube out of the box. One thing that I really noticed was catching pieces and poor corner cutting abilities. After 5 averages of 12’s I realized that the YueYing would really benefit from loosening tensions and maybe cleaning out the factory lube and re lubricating.

After correct tensiosn and relubrication, the Cong’s Design YeuYing really did get faster. The sluggish feeling mostly went away and got replaced by smooth layer turns. This characteristic really helped with faster times because I could concentrate more on look ahead and less on struggling to turn each layers. The Yueying is very controllable and algorithms flow very nicely and fast but not as fast as other faster speed cubes.

it has  greater speed but it is also easy to control which is due to the specialty of the cong's design but it has some disadvantage too. it doesn't have convenient cross cutting and slower layer turns.

This speed cubes corner cutting is quite interesting. With correct tensions corners can cut quite easily, with minimal to no effort needed, which is a characteristic of good corner cutting. Although, this corner cutting doesn’t happen every single time, there are some times when it seems like the pieces catch on to each other. After close examination it seems that the culprit is internal cut outs present in the corner pieces which helps the cube corner cut with little to no effort, however sometimes catches on each other causing disruption during solves.

Hi Guys Nivas from truber's team here towards review on Qiyi Thunderclap V2

It certainly looks quite a bit different from the Thunderclap 1: it adopted the squared off corners of more modern cubes, and shaped the stickers accordingly. The centers are more octagonal than before, and the edges are now rounded on the bottom.

In terms of colors, the stock stickers on the stickered versions have identical shades to the Thunderclap v1. The stickerless version has a brighter green as opposed to the paler green on the v1, a brighter yellow, and a darker blue and slightly darker red. All of the colors on the stickerless seem more vibrant and less washed out than the Thunderclap 1's colors.

Image result for Qiyi thunderclap v2 review
It weighs noticeably more than the v1, coming in at 85g for the stickerless version and 88g for the stickered version, as opposed to 77g for the stickerless and 80g for the stickered for the v1. It makes a higher pitched, more clacky sound than the v1, similar to the X-Man Tornado, and as I'll get into later, the similarities with the Tornado don't end there.

The Thunderclap v1 was a smooth, slightly clicky cube. The Thunderclap v2 has quite a different feel: similar to the Tornado, it's much slower, even when lubed, much more bumpy, and much more clacky. It's also tensioned much looser out of the box, which makes it not quite unstable as the GTS or the Gans is but very flexy when corner cutting.

The Thunderclap v1 would pop when tensioned as loose as the v2 is, but I haven't experienced a pop on the v2 yet and it corner cuts very well, so I haven't felt the need to tighten it.

The v1 had a very light feel when turning. The v2's turning feels much heavier even if when tuned almost as fast - there's seemingly more weight distributed into the pieces rather than the core and the centers, which combined with the extra weight gives more momentum to each turn. This is again very similar to the Tornado's heavy turning feel.

It's a very odd feel if you're used to the Thunderclap v1, and I certainly don't like it nearly as much. You could get used to it or even like it over time, especially if you haven't used the v1 before, but otherwise don't go into it expecting the same thing.

It would be a rather nice feel if you like the Tornado, and in fact I know someone who loved the Tornado and now loves the Thunderclap v2.

Corner Cutting

Max corner cutting: 55 degrees
Effective corner cutting: ~45 degrees
Max reverse cutting: 35 degrees
Effective reverse cutting: ~27 degrees

Impressively, this budget cube is part of the small but growing club of cubes that can manage full cutting - there is not a single angle on this cube that it can't corner cut. Corner cutting is snappy and reverse cutting is smooth up to about 20 degrees, after which it starts to feel snappier.

No complaints here. It easily matches high-end cubes like the Yuexiao or the GTS.

Anti-pop and anti-corner twist

Image result for Qiyi thunderclap v2 review
Anti-pop is excellent. I can't get it to pop no matter how roughly I turn.

Anti-corner twist...well. On the stock tensions it's definitely more difficult to corner twist than the v1, but it's still rather easy. I've had it happen during solves, especially on one of my G perms.

That being said, ever since my turning style has adjusted to modern cubes (interpret: gotten rougher) I've managed to corner twist every one of my mains except my Weilong GTS during that G perm. That suggests that the Thunderclap v2's anti corner twist is still rather good, but the GTS's anti corner twist is just truly excellent.

Hi guys Nivas from trubers team towards the review of Moyu Mini Aolong.

it has the same design of Moyu Aolong which is the first revolutionary design by Moyu and has the great capability of speed and corner cutting.

At first lets start from the design. the design was by the best Moyu cube engineers hich has the curve inwards in the sides of the corner pieces and and no tracks in side of the edges but tracks are present in the lower of the edges.

the cross cutting is also quite good which has cross cutting about 50 degree forward and 30 degree backward the cube's cross cutting works still good but it regularly goes into corner twist.and mishandling leads to regular poping.

the core comes from regular Moyu core which is made up of plastics and the center pieces are connected to the core using normal screws and the center pieces looks normal in its design and the above cap normally get removed easily

the edges are made by two pieces and the corners are made by connecting three pieces, both doesn't have any caps and the cube lengths around 54.5mm.

i conclude that the cube is very good but it has lot of drawbacks in case of poping and corner twist if you ask me i just suggest Moyu Aolong V2

Hi guys i am nivas back from Trubers review to give review on GuoGuan YueXiao........

As far as performance, you have already heard it.  It is a fantastic cube.  It flows really nicely and corner cuts really well.  There are videos out there where people say it can corner cut from any spot.  That was the case when I unboxed it but after slightly tightening the tensions it will not cut anymore from certain spots.  It is still great and cut over 45° but it is not beyond anything else on the market.  The Cong's Design MeiYing and the Gans 356 both can cut in a similar way.  So corner cutting is not beyond anything we haven't seen before.

Because of the squared off corners the cube does not corner twist easily.

As far as the feeling of the cube, I did not like it when I got it.  There felt like there was a lot of contact between the pieces.  The best I could compare it to would be a HuaLong that is very tight.  There is a lot of plastic touching each other.  This does not make the cube worse in any way but because I like the lighter feeling cubes and the YueXiao does not have the airy feeling I don't enjoy solving it as much.

the cube is different when compared with its stickered and stickerless version the stickered version have half bright sades with darker red.

As far as pieces go, the edges are VERY similar to the MeiYing.  The Corners have the same design with the solid piece for the stalk and the three other pieces going around it.  The main difference is that the GuoGuan has smaller holes than the MeiYing.

This is a great cube.  It can get anyone great times.  I just do not like the feeling that much.  If you like the MeiYing but wished it would be more stable feeling this would be perfect for you.  Same thing for the 356.  If you like the flexible but solid feeling you might like this too.  But if you like the airy-ness of the MeiYing or like the 356 because of the quiet sound or heavier stricture you might not like the GuoGuan.

Maru is a silicon-based lubricant. It is one of the most popular silicon lubricant. It costs around 2$. The only drawback in this is it dries out quickly.Other than that it is very nice one .It give smoother feel to cube and makes it immensely fast.Only 2 to 3 drops is enough for lubricating cube each time.If you are solving cube roughly 100 times a day ,the lube will go off in just 3 days.In consideration of price the lube is excellent.

Hi this is Nivas from Trubers Community, Here to produce review on DaYan GuHong. it is the first cube in evolution of cubes to have a different shape from the traditional shape of cubes.it was came before the ZhanChi.

It has a simple structure and machanism the corner pieces were with the longer stem and it was slim and simple and the edges was beveled down for better cross cutting it was made of molding three pieces.

the edges are also similarly molded like corner pieces. it was molded with 2 pieces it caused more rounded feel and had a little plastic came out to save the cube from popping.

I like the GuHong a lot!  This is a cube that I would willingly go to a competition with or to show off how fast I am with it.  Now I have cubes that I like better, but this definitely hits in my top 5 speed cubes.  The turning, the corner-cutting, the feel is all top notch and was great for its time.  That’s why Dayan grew to be such a respected brand.  They have cubes that work.
To people who are just starting in the speed cubing world, I introduce them to either this cube or the ZhanChi.  They both have a great feel and they are perfect for beginning and learning how to get faster at solving the cube.  Everyone that I’ve recommended this cube has come back to thank me for showing them.  I even show it to those who haven’t even learned how to solve the cube, and they go buy one so they can learn for themselves!
