The New WeiLong GTS is inherited from its pre versions WeiLong 1,2 and 3 and the edges look familiar with HuaLong It sizes around 56mm.the cube comes with Caps instead of Pieces for edges.
The Cube's sticker are quite different which comes in different contrast But the orange look more florescent easy to identify.it also comes in multiple colors Which looks like the sticker in Gans 356 Master And ultimate edition.
The caps are very hard to pop unless it get damaged and the springs are different when compared to other models of Moyu which is tight to improve both Cross cutting and control of the cube.the design the still have the desigh of Gans 356 for the caps and corners of the pieces which have track on their sides.
The WeiLong get new type of which exist first time in the Moyu family it looks like the Guoguan YueXiao .
As far as in the hands before turning it feels just like a YueXiao. The pieces are rounded, it is 56mm and has similar flexibility. When turning this does not have the air-y feeling of the GuoGuan, It does not have the super smooth feeling of the Gans 356, and it really doesn’t feel like any other MoYu cube. Honestly this feels like a Fangshi cube.
There is a scratchiness that I haven’t experienced since the ShuangRen. I feel that if Fangshi made the 356 this is what it would be. It is also EXTREMELY fast. This is the most uncontrollable out of the box cube I have used. I did put in some weight 6 from SpeedCubeShop.
What weight 6 is good for is a more controllable feel but since you don’t need much it keeps the super scratchy feel.
I could use more of a lighter lube but I didn’t want to loose the feeling. You can even hear a clicking sound which reminds me a rollercoaster track. Now it is not catchy even though that sound is there.
Lastly, corner cutting is above with would be expected a year ago and will cut from almost anywhere.
the expectation of the cube solvers have been done by the gans but due to its hign cost it to hard to take it as a normal custom.But it is believed that the new Moyu Weilong GTS will satisfy the place which the solvers expect
